John Wooden's Seven Point Creed, given to him by his father Joshua upon his graduation from grammar school:
- Be true to yourself.
- Make each day your masterpiece.
- Help others.
- Drink deeply from good books, especially the Bible.
- Make friendship a fine art.
- Build a shelter against a rainy day.
- Pray for guidance and give thanks for your blessings every day.
A NBA legend deceased. Actually I don't know him. But from wiki he was kinda pro. And the top seven point was what his dad told him. And i find it really meaningful and that what we must remind ourself each and every day.
Mr John wooden, deceased on 4th June 2010, at the age of 99.
